A reminder that we have Chapel on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:45AM at Salem Baptist Church (429 S. Broad St., Winston-Salem, NC, 27101). We are looking forward to hearing from Senior Pastor Josh McCord.
Josh is a born-again follower of Jesus Christ and his deepest desire is to see the Kingdom of God spread through the love of the gospel. Josh has had the privilege and honor of participating in the mission of the gospel for over 20 years, evangelizing in nearly every state of the United States, as well as France and Africa. God has sent Josh’s family to serve churches in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Texas. Throughout his ministry, Josh has witnessed literally hundreds of people of all ages and demographics come to Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Pastor Josh is a native of Houston, TX. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ashford University, as well as a Master of Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University. He is currently the Pastor at Blue Creek Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Josh has a pastoral heart for all military members and all branches. He is passionate about the Holy Bible, and enjoys Christian hip-hop, football, drawing, and backyard games. He and his wife, Amber, have been married since 2002. They are the proud parents of 7 children.
REMINDERS:
- Chapel is required for all Undergraduate, Main Campus students (residents & commuters).
- Make sure to bring your CU ID Card and you can scan it in for attendance.
- Any meeting or activity scheduled during Chapel must be approved by the Vice President for Student Affairs in advance. Excused absences are for any CU-related activity or event.
- No food, drink, or gum is permitted during Chapel services.
