Thanks to funding provided from generous supporters of Carolina University, the first 20 students that enroll in “Survey of the Bible” in Morgan County Public Schools will receive free tuition and books. CU will have the opportunity this fall semester to teach this course as an elective in the public school system in Alabama following legislation from the governor to add biblical literacy to its educational system. These courses will be offered as college transfer credit. President Charles Petitt commented, “The Bible is one of the most important and influential books in history, shaping much of what we know and experience today. Giving the opportunity to learn from a highly-skilled, credentialed Bible faculty is a great benefit for students in Alabama.” Students can enroll by going to carolinau.edu/mcenroll.
