On the first day of Giving Tuesday, my Piedmont shared with me ONE overarching strategic goal; aggressively preparing to apply for regional accreditation with The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Regional accreditation will provide CU students and alumni with outstanding academic credibility, significant educational opportunities, various professional licensure tracks, and superior career advantages. It will also poise the University for strategic partnerships, expanded financial opportunities, global expansion, etc.

Financial health and long term sustainability are crucial requirements for regional accreditation. Your generous gift today or on Giving Tuesday will help CU achieve this strategic goal.

“Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day.

It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.” – givingtuesday.org
