Faculty Article on Proposed UN Cybercrime Convention

The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution in December 2019 to draft a new international convention to tackle cybercrimes. The resolution was sponsored by Russia and opposed by major Western countries including the United States.

Dr Sandeep Gopalan, Executive Vice President of Carolina University, authored an opinion article in the major Middle East broadsheet newspaper, The Khaleej Times, arguing that the new convention is a bad idea.
