The Piedmont Divinity School is pleased to be a sponsor of the ReVitalize conference on April 20, 2021. This conference, developed by two of our own adjunct professors, Dr. Matt Smith and Nick Decker, will focus on revitalizing churches that are plateaued, declining, or simply in need of rethinking missional strategies during and after the covid-19 pandemic. The conference speaker is Mark Clifton, well known for his work in the area of church replanting and revitalization, who will be leading the sessions. The heartbeat of Piedmont Divinity School is to equip, train, and support pastors and churches as they seek to most effectively share the gospel; and we believe this conference can be a source of encouragement and a catalyst for your ministry.
Recent studies show that the great majority of churches are either declining or plateaued. Specifically speaking there has been an average net loss of 3,500 churches each year over the last twenty-plus years. Of the remaining churches, 88 to 91 percent of them are dying. Within the Southern Baptist Convention, 800 to 900 churches die every year.
In many ways, the COVID-19 pandemic has not been helpful to many church revitalization efforts. While these are alarming statistics, Lebanon Baptist Church is committed to helping churches revitalize and thrive within this current post-pandemic climate.
One way Lebanon Baptist church is assisting churches, pastors, and church leaders this year is by offering a one-day church revitalization conference with Mark Clifton called [RE]VITALIZE, which will point your church to reclaiming God’s glory this year.
This conference is specifically intended for pastors, staff, and lay leaders (deacons, elders, etc…). Pastor(s), we really believe you will get the most out of this conference if you can bring with you some of the lay leaders within your church. Because of that, we are offering a group rate discount.

Group Rates:
We want to encourage pastors to bring their staff, board members, key leaders, and individuals to this conference. Because of that, we are offering a group rate for those who register 10 or more individuals. When you register 10 or more individuals for the conference, each participant will receive $5 off their registration. PLEASE NOTE: Group discounts will only be applied when 10 or more individuals are registered under one session. That means one person will need to register all those planning to attend if they are coming as a group.
