Friday’s Convocation speaker is Carolina University Alumnus, Deon Parker. Deon grew up in Michigan and is a 2004 graduate. He has been married to Julie since 2001 and they have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Deon has spent twenty years in vocational Christian ministry as a Senior Pastor, Prison Chaplain, Rescue Mission Chaplin, Sports Chaplain, and a Christian School Teacher. Deon is currently serving as the Spiritual Life Director (Chaplain) of Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point.
