Friday’s Convocation speaker is Dr. Matt Argano, Chief Human Resource Officer at Lumber Liquidators. He has been with Lumber Liquidators for the past 2 1/2 years. The company is a publicly traded business that has 2,400 associates. There are 430 stores and 1.5 million square feet in distribution space. Lumber Liquidators had 1.2 billion in sales for the 2021 fiscal year.
Dr. Argano has worked for a number of companies including Bed, Bath, and Beyond, The Children’s Place, The Fresh Market, and Altar’d State. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Tennessee Temple University, which later merged with Carolina University.
